What the Ashby integration does
Salesfinity's Ashby integration connects through Composio and lets the Salesfinity AI Companion read candidates, job postings and application stages from your Ashby account, and write activity such as notes back to a candidate when you approve it. It is an assistant-level connection for recruiters who use the Salesfinity dialer for candidate phone outreach. It does not sync your Ashby pipeline into Salesfinity and it does not import candidates as a calling list.
Pipeline lookups the Companion can do
Find a candidate by name and report which job and stage they are in.

Common use cases
Prepping a screening call block
Before an afternoon of candidate calls, ask the Companion which candidates on a specific requisition are sitting in the initial screen stage and what the last note on each says. You go into the dialer knowing who has already been contacted and by whom, instead of repeating someone else's call.
Logging the outcome of a phone screen
After a screening call, ask the Companion to draft a short note from what was discussed and add it to the candidate in Ashby. You review the wording, approve it, and the note lands on the profile the hiring manager will actually open.
Checking a callback against pipeline status
A candidate returns your call two days later. Ask the Companion for their current Ashby stage before you pick up the thread, so you are not offering a screen to someone who already has an onsite scheduled.
How to connect Ashby to Salesfinity
In Salesfinity, open Settings → Integrations.
Select Ashby from the AI Companion integrations.
Enter your Ashby API key on the Composio connection screen.
Confirm the connection is active in Salesfinity.
Ask the AI Companion to list your open Ashby jobs to check that it can read your account.
Frequently asked questions
Does the Ashby integration import candidates into Salesfinity as a calling list?
No. This is an assistant-level integration and it does not create contact lists. To dial a set of candidates, export them from Ashby and import the CSV into Salesfinity, or build the list in the List Builder.
Does Salesfinity write call recordings or dispositions back to Ashby?
No. There is no automatic activity write-back. The Companion can add a note to a candidate when you ask it to and approve the text, but call logs, recordings and dispositions stay in Salesfinity.
Can recruiters use Salesfinity's parallel dialer for candidate outreach?
Yes. The dialer, call recording, transcription and AI call scoring work the same way for candidate calls as for sales calls. The Ashby integration adds pipeline context to that workflow.
Will the Companion change a candidate's stage on its own?
No. Any write to Ashby, including updating fields or adding notes, requires your explicit approval before it runs.
