What the BambooHR integration does
Salesfinity's BambooHR integration connects through Composio and lets the Salesfinity AI Companion query employee directories, applicant records and job openings in BambooHR, and submit approved changes such as adding an applicant note. It is an assistant-level connection. BambooHR data is not synced into Salesfinity, and applicant records are not turned into calling lists.

BambooHR holds sensitive employee data. The Companion only reads what your connected BambooHR user can already see, and every write waits for your approval.
Common use cases
Running candidate phone outreach against a live requisition
A recruiter using Salesfinity's dialer for candidate calls asks the Companion which applicants on a requisition are still awaiting a first phone screen. That tells them who to call today without leaving the calling workflow to open BambooHR.
Recording the result of an outreach call
After a candidate conversation, ask the Companion to add a short note to that applicant in BambooHR summarizing interest level and availability. You read the draft, approve it, and it appears on the record the hiring team reviews.
Finding the right internal person before an escalation
When a call surfaces something that needs an internal owner, ask the Companion who leads a given department according to the BambooHR directory, rather than guessing from memory or a stale org chart.
How to connect BambooHR to Salesfinity
In Salesfinity, open Settings → Integrations.
Select BambooHR from the AI Companion integrations.
Enter your BambooHR subdomain and API key on the Composio connection screen.
Confirm the integration shows as connected in Salesfinity.
Ask the AI Companion to list your open BambooHR job openings to verify access.
Frequently asked questions
Does the BambooHR integration sync contacts or calling lists into Salesfinity?
No. It does not import applicants or employees as Salesfinity contacts. Calling lists come from CSV import, a native CRM integration, or the List Builder.
Can the AI Companion see employee compensation or private HR fields?
It can only read what the BambooHR user account you connect has permission to read. If that account cannot see a field, neither can the Companion. Connect an account scoped to what you actually need.
Does Salesfinity push call recordings or transcripts into BambooHR?
No. Recordings, transcripts and dispositions stay in Salesfinity. The Companion can write a note you approve, nothing is pushed automatically.
Is BambooHR useful if we are a sales team, not a recruiting team?
Mostly for directory lookups. If nobody on your team runs recruiting outreach, the practical value is limited to finding internal owners and org structure, and you may not need it connected.
