Fathom
Lets the Salesfinity AI Companion pull notes and summaries from your Fathom meeting recordings when you ask for them.
What the Fathom integration does
Salesfinity's Fathom integration connects through Composio and lets the AI Companion read your Fathom meeting recordings, transcripts and AI summaries when you ask it to. Fathom covers the meetings that happen after the call is booked: discovery calls, demos, customer check-ins. Salesfinity already records, transcribes and AI-scores the calls placed through its own dialer, so this integration is about the rest of your team's calendar, not about your dialing sessions.
What the Companion can read
Recent Fathom meetings, with titles, dates and participants
Meeting transcripts and Fathom's own AI-generated summaries
Action items and highlights captured in a recording
Search across past meetings for a company or a person
What it does not do
It does not record your Salesfinity parallel dialing sessions. Salesfinity's own recording and transcription handle those.
It does not replace Salesfinity's native Gong integration, which is the purpose-built conversation intelligence connection.
It does not import contacts or build calling lists from meeting attendees.
Common use cases
Reading the discovery call before dialing the rest of the account
An AE ran a discovery call last week and it was recorded in Fathom. Before an SDR dials three more people at that account, they ask the Companion what came out of that meeting. The Companion pulls the Fathom summary so the next calls open with context instead of a cold script.
Pulling action items into a follow-up plan
After a demo, ask the Companion for the action items Fathom captured. It returns the list, and you decide which ones turn into follow-up tasks or a callback in Salesfinity.
Checking what a prospect actually objected to
A deal has stalled. You ask the Companion to find the part of the last Fathom recording where pricing came up. It searches the transcript and returns the relevant passage rather than making you scrub through the recording.
How to connect Fathom to Salesfinity
In Salesfinity, open Settings → Integrations.
Find Fathom in the list of apps available through Composio and select Connect.
Sign in to Fathom and approve the access request.
Return to Salesfinity and confirm the connection shows as active.
Ask the AI Companion about a recent meeting to check that reads are working.
Frequently asked questions
Does the Fathom integration sync contacts into Salesfinity?
No. It is an assistant-level connection, not a data sync. Contacts come from Salesfinity's native CRM integrations or from List Builder, not from Fathom meeting attendees.
Does Fathom record my Salesfinity calls?
No. Salesfinity records and transcribes calls placed through its own dialer, and scores them with its AI call scoring. Fathom records the meetings it is invited to, which are usually video meetings rather than dial-out prospecting calls.
Should I use Fathom or Gong with Salesfinity?
Gong is the native conversation intelligence integration and goes deeper. Fathom through Composio is assistant-level access to your meeting notes. Teams often have both, for different meeting types.
Can the Companion change something in Fathom?
Only with your approval. Any action that creates, updates or deletes content in a connected app is shown to you first and runs only after you approve it.
