Introducing Session Recap

A new way to end every dialing session. See what worked. Fix what didn't. Run it back while it's fresh. Live for every Salesfinity Enterprise account today.

Most cold calling sessions end the same way. The rep hangs up the last call, closes the dialer, and moves on. The good calls fade. The bad ones fade faster. By tomorrow, the moment that lost a meeting is gone — and it'll happen again on the next session.

We thought that was a problem worth solving.

Today we're introducing Session Recap — a single view that meets every rep at the end of every session and turns 60 minutes of dialing into something they can actually learn from.

What you see when you wrap a session

Three things, in order:

What you did. The full funnel — dials, connects, conversations, meetings — in one view. No more switching between dashboards to count what just happened. The numbers tell their own story.

What worked. Your best call of the session, scored and timestamped. We pull the exact moment something clicked — the objection reframe, the discovery question, the close — so reps can hear what their best looks like and build pattern recognition.

What to fix. The one call where a meeting was left on the table. We surface the moment it slipped, show where the call broke down on the scorecard, and queue up an AI training drill with the actual prospect's voice and objections.

That last part is the unlock.

The AI training drill

Every recap recommends one drill. Not a generic role-play with a bot reading from a script — the actual prospect, cloned from the real call.

Same voice. Same objections. Same tone. Run it back, this time with a plan.

The goal is simple: lock in the lesson while the call is still in the rep's head. Drill the moment they lost the deal, not a textbook version of it.

If the recommended call doesn't feel right, the recap surfaces two other coachable calls from the same session — with the actual objection summary on each, so reps see what happened and what they'd learn before they pick. No more guessing what a "61.25 score" means.

Why we built it this way

We spent the last six months analyzing how reps actually improve. The pattern was consistent: the reps who got better fastest weren't the ones doing the most calls. They were the ones who reviewed and drilled their weak spots within 24 hours of making the mistake.

Most coaching workflows don't work that way. Calls get reviewed in 1:1s a week later, by which point the rep has made the same mistake five more times. Training platforms run generic scenarios disconnected from the rep's actual book.

Session Recap closes that gap. Every session ends with a recommendation. Every recommendation is one click away from a drill. Every drill uses the real prospect's voice. The friction between "I just made a mistake" and "I'm practicing the fix" is now seconds, not days.

What's live today

Session Recap is available for every Salesfinity Enterprise account. No setup, no configuration. Finish your next dialing session and the recap will be waiting.

Reps see their own. Managers see their team's. Both surface the same three things: what worked, what didn't, and the one drill worth running back.

This is the first step in a larger shift we're making — from a dialer that helps reps make more calls, to a system that helps reps make every call count.

FAQ

What is Session Recap?

Session Recap is a feature in Salesfinity that summarizes every cold calling session for sales reps. It shows the full funnel (dials, connects, conversations, meetings), the rep's best-scored call, and the one call worth running back as an AI training drill.

How does the AI training drill work?

When a rep finishes a session, Salesfinity identifies the call with the highest coaching value — usually one where a meeting was nearly booked but slipped on a specific objection. The recap surfaces that moment, shows where the call broke down, and lets the rep practice with an AI twin built from the actual prospect's voice and objection patterns.

Is the AI twin a generic role-play bot?

No. Generic role-play bots use canned scripts and don't sound like the actual prospect. Salesfinity's AI twins are cloned from the real call — same voice, same objections, same tone. Reps drill the exact scenario they lost, not a textbook version of it.

Do reps have to enable Session Recap?

No. Session Recap is automatically enabled for every Salesfinity Enterprise account. It appears at the end of every dialing session.

Why does the recap recommend only one call to train?

Because choice paralysis kills follow-through. Reps who see five options usually train zero of them. The recap recommends the single highest-impact drill, with two backup options surfaced if the rep prefers a different call. Most reps complete the recommended drill within minutes of finishing their session.

What does "coachable call" mean?

A coachable call is one where the rep made progress but missed a specific opportunity — most commonly, earning a referral without locking a time, handling an objection well but not closing on a next step, or losing a meeting in the final 30 seconds. These are the highest-impact moments to drill because the rep was close.

How is Session Recap different from call recording or call review?

Call recording captures what happened. Call review is the manual process of listening back. Session Recap pulls the one moment that matters from every session, scores it, and turns it into an instant practice drill. It's the difference between a video library and a coach.

Will this work for inbound or warm calls?

Session Recap is designed for outbound cold calling sessions. Inbound and warm call workflows are different, and we'll have more to share on those soon.
